TEACHER TIPS
How to Play:
Students look at all five sets on the pentagon.
Each student picks ONE number they think will score.
A student presses STOP to lock in the winning set.
Only students whose number is in the winning set score points.
Scoring Strategy:
Fewer students in the winning set = more points (up to 5 pts for 10% or fewer).
Triple-overlap answers belong to 3 sets and score no matter which of those wins.
Single-set answers are a gamble but rewarding if their set wins.
No-set answers always lose. Avoid them!
Facilitation Tips:
Ask students to explain their choice before revealing the winning set.
Pause after reveal to discuss the psychology of the round.
Level 1 is great for warm-ups. Level 3+ generates rich discussion.
